Teaching isn’t what it used to be.

After 26 years in education, I’ve seen the highs and the lows. I spent 14 years in 4th grade, many of them truly rewarding, until they weren’t. I later transitioned into a role as a Teacher Resource Specialist for Technology Integration, where I spent another 12 years supporting educators. Again, many moments were fulfilling, until they weren’t.

As a coach, I now have a different perspective. I see what teachers are facing every day: the mounting stress, the loss of autonomy, the overwhelming demands, and the deep feeling of being undervalued. I’ve witnessed the tears, and I’ve shed a few of my own.
